Nigerian Customer Purchases Sinotruk HOWO TX400 Dump Truck; Chinese Heavy-Duty Trucks Continue to Lead the West African Market

A Nigerian customer has finalized the purchase of the Sinotruk HOWO TX400 dump truck. The delivered unit is a 6×4 heavy-duty dump truck powered by a Weichai WP12 series 400-horsepower diesel engine. The vehicle delivers strong low-speed torque and excellent heavy-load climbing capabilities, making it well-suited for Nigeria's mountainous terrain and unpaved mining roads. It features a standard double-layer reinforced frame and a 16-ton class dual-reduction rear axle, ensuring high load-bearing capacity. The wear-resistant U-shaped cargo bed, paired with a front-mounted hydraulic lifting system, enables efficient and stable unloading, making the truck ideal for applications such as ore transport, infrastructure earthworks, sand and gravel hauling, and cement distribution.

To withstand the high-temperature, high-humidity, and dusty operating conditions of West Africa, the vehicle incorporates an optimized multi-stage dust-proof air intake system and a high-flow cooling system.
